 The Storyteller’s Lab is a 5 week residency for developing, creating, and sharing stories from system impacted communities, particularly formerly incarcerated women. Inspired by Adrienne Maree Brown’s Emergent Strategy, this workshop process focuses on shifting attention away from the mainstream stock stories that dominate culture and history, towards more concealed stories that don't typically exist in our mass media. These are narratives of joy, ancestry, and community told by people in the margins.
